Besides my Challenges and my new, improved routines (which have been extremely good), my daily life has been mostly on autopilot. I admit and take complete responsibility for it.
So, it’s time to add some adventure to them! It’s what the Living Process is about.
Whether intellectual, emotional, physical, or social, stepping outside my comfort zone is so important.
My Living Process should provide me with a sense of purpose – no matter what is discovered.
Life is constantly changing, filled with uncertainty, risk, and lessons. Learning to deal with it and find the balance is what it is all about. Adapting to change, and finding the strength and positive mindset to explore and embrace change and challenges leads to personal growth and a deeper understanding of life and oneself.
I will continue my challenges and my routines since they don’t interfere with my days (except for learning and exercising). My days now are something I need to focus on and change. My first step (1 week) was to take a deep analysis of what I have been doing throughout the day. (I wasn’t happy.) However, it did improve some when I changed my morning and evening routines. But not enough.
The second step is to look at what I love, like, and don’t like (I’ve mentioned this in earlier posts). I’m engaged in this process and it’s like a wish list.
The third and fourth steps are to look at how to change. Setting up boundaries, removing old habits and apps/programs, and setting up time limits (always helpful). Then find a replacement by adding healthy habits, hobbies, and work to fill what’s been removed. And finally, gauging how things are going. I am not sure how yet. Do you have any ideas?
