Reading the process

09/14/2023

I’m “still” reading The 4 hour work week (taking my time with it.) I am trying to read at least one chapter a day. I have read so many books but never really truly followed what I’ve read. A lot was mostly common sense, something to learn or fluff. This year I am going to read and reread the ones I think will add to my process starting with this one. (For no reason)

Bruce Lee (A Hero of mine) said “Absorb what is useful, discard what is useless and add what is specifically your own”
So I will. Today I have taken the first step. I started taking notes and started doing things I want to make specifically mine!

I have started a list of books I should read over. “Build the life you want” will be my next book. If I can find it, “Wisdom for the Way” should be after. But probably “Tao Te Ching”

Here’s my list of the books I want to read / reread. (A work in progress)

An introduction of buddhism
Meditations
The stoics
The Alchemist
The Unbound soul
The Silmarillion
Outlive
Qigong Meditation
What the bleep do we know
The way of a pilgrimage
Zen and the art of archery
Mindfulness or The miracle of mindfulness
Abundance
The Brothers of Karamazov
Essentialism
The fifth sacred thing
How not to die
Start with why

There’s quite a few more books
I can tell you that I am 100% determined to continue living my process.
