I’m sorry to say, there’s no quick way to improve your life.
In any area – health & fitness, intellectual and emotional, spiritual, environmental, personal growth, love relationships, social, financial, and more – without the hard work, sacrifice, or luck, it’s just not possible.
You need to do the hard work to feel and do anything worthwhile, Because you can’t count on luck.
Of course, I bought into a lot of things, like “1 month for six-pack abs!” or “Take this course and become financially free!” β¦ and even more than I would like to say. I’ve come to the conclusion that you just need to do the work. There’s nothing else to say. I’ve wasted so much time, money, and energy on the hype machine (TV, news, social media, even friends).
This year, I’m keeping things as simple as possible, not spending time, money, or energy on things I can’t control (including time, money, and energy), only what’s important to me: my goals, my rules, my challenges, and what I wrote in my last two posts. Anything more would be too much, in my opinion.
I’m 8 days into my Challenge and 6 days in my year. I have to say that it hasn’t been easy (how do people drink black coffee?) but it’s adding additional determination to follow through and see how much I can improve my life on my own.
