My next 80 days… I’m going to work on my mindset. That includes, Taking responsibility for my life. I’ve said this multiple times. But I never took myself completely accountable. They were just fancy words to say. Until now. I am going to write every morning and check it in the evening, take notes in the evening, I’m going to meditate daily for at least 10 to 20 minutes, and get back into my practice. (before I got sick) I will write about it soon.
There are reasons why I need to get things done, besides health and peace of mind. I made a promise to myself and my dearest friend almost a year ago. And I am going to keep that promise. I’m writing this in my hammock in my apartment (Yes, I have a hammock in my apartment) . I’m planning out the next 10 days.. and only 10 days It’s part of my process of keeping things simple and interesting. Today it’s Monday and in ten days it will be Thursday. The only “rest day” is Sundays. I will continue to do this until my birthday. Maybe from now on. (It makes sense to me)
My morning schedule will be.
6:45 up and about, make the bed, drink a glass of water. Put the kettle on, wash up, get dressed.
7:00 coffee, write, plan and review the day’s adventure in my journal, Meditate
8:00 out for a walk
9:00 exercise, practice,
10:15/30 Start the day…
Sunday will be a “do nothing” day, no plans, relax , just do whatever.
There’s a quote I like. I don’t know where it came from but it goes something like this…
“When I was born I looked like my parents. When I die I look like my decisions”
